Description
About This Record. This is an original first pressing copy of Anonymous ' "Inside the Shadow" LP. Cool private pressing. The black and white A Major Label (AMLS 1002) from 1976. Very interesting stuff from Indiana; sold my Hickory Wind recently, so guess I should sell this too, although I like this better and fortunately for you I paid a lot less.
Hans Pokora gives this four westcoast psychedelic rock stars, sorry about the reserve, but I paid a boat-full for this treasure many years ago. Vernon Joynson seems to value it even more with an R4 rating, and our friends at the Acid Archives give it a pretty darn good review (but darn it that book is in my bedroom with my sleeping wife and I don't recall the exact rating there). But rest assured you need it. Female and male vocals, great guitar, and some Haymarket Square/Jefferson Airplane sound. But from 1976 . . . just a hint of prog.
The Labels The labels are NM w/some light spindle marks. No writing stickers or problems.
The Vinyl: Looks close to NM but I'll say strong VG+ (a.k.a EX+). Bright and shiny; one or two light marks which don't affect play. No problems. Keeper copy!
The Cover: The cover is a STRONG EX as well. Real close to NM but some age marks/drips on cover. No writing or stickers or evidence thereof. Strong spine (with no words, of coursel).
