Description

Boy do I love this album!! Dylan 1st Press from 1965 on the UK CBS label. Matrix 1A-1/1B-1. Heavy set vinyl. Rough textured labels with the larger '33' speed showing. The record comes housed in an original flipback sleeve - catalogue number showing above the fourth column. Original CBS inner sleeve - probably from a couple of years later though.
The Vinyl (Ex) Shiny like new and has clearly only seen minimal use. Under close inspection we could barely make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. We detected a few light static crackles around the beginning of each side, but other than that interference was very very slight. These early CBS pressings are the best way to hear Dylan - period! Nothing else comes close. What a rendition...just amazing.
Cover (Vg+) Has been well cared for with just a couple of minor faults. The front is lovely and shiny and white. Difficult to imagine finding a front cover much better than this. The previous owner has previously taped up the opening edge. The tape is no longer present, but it has left residue. The rear is largely free of ageing which these covers often suffer from. The only other noticeable deterioration is a small graze to the top-left on the rear. In all other respects this is a beautifully preserved cover. Very light edge wear and a perfectly preserved spine. Overall the cover retains great rigidity too.
Inner (Ex-) Minimal ageing. A couple of small rips. The LP will come housed in an Exstatic inner sleeve.

Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
