Description
Extremely rare 1965 jazz / devotional EP from the Michael Garrick Quintet, featuring Joe Harriott (alto sax) and Shake Keane (trumpet), and issued on Argo (mono EAF 92). It takes an original and pioneering modal jazz approach to sacred music.
The fully laminated flipback sleeve is in excellent to near mint condition (just a tiny bit of wear to the corners) - no tears, writing or damage.
The vinyl looks pristine - it plays with a little surface noise at times that a deep clean would most likely improve. I'd grade it Excellent visually, and VG+ or better on the audio.
The blue and silver Argo labels are in excellent to near mint condition, and it looks to have had very few plays.
It also comes with its original shaped plastic inner (pictured).
An extremely rare jazz collectable, this is very sought after.
