Anthology Of British Blues Volume 1& 2

Up for auction are both volumes of this UK blues compilation. Issued on the Immediate label. Both are double albums. The artists featured on the 2 albums are as follows:

Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Jeff Beck, Stones Masonry, Nicky Hopkins, Cyril Davies, Jon Lord, T.S. Mcphee, Dharma Blues Band, Savoy Brown, Stuff Smith, Santa Barbara Machine Head, The All Stars, Albert Lee, Jo-Ann Kelly, Dave Kelly, Chris Farlowe, Earl Vince & Jeremy Spencer.

1. Anthology Of British Blues Volume 1 (Immediate IMAL 03/04 UK double LP 1969) This is a UK original double LP pressing. It has a matt gatefold sleeve, & comes with its original plain paper inner sleeves. The records have pink Immediate labels & have 1st press 1Y-1G/ 2Y-2G/ 1Y-2G/ 2Y-2G matrix stampers.

Gatefold Sleeve: Some mild wear only. VG+ condition.

Vinyl 1: There are some light sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, and 4 light hairline marks. There are some mild pressing marks too. VG+ condition. The labels are in very nice condition and show mild spindle wear. Plays very well indeed. There is some light crackle in some quieter places. There is some writing on the plain paper inner sleeve.

Vinyl 2: There are some light sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, and 2 light hairline marks. There are some mild pressing marks too. VG+ condition. The labels are in very nice condition and show mild spindle wear. Plays very well indeed. There is some light crackle in some quieter places. There is some writing on the plain paper inner sleeve.

2. Anthology Of British Blues Volume 2 (Immediate IMAL 05/06 UK double LP 1969) This is a UK original double LP pressing. It has a matt gatefold sleeve, & comes with its original plain paper inner sleeves. The records have pink Immediate labels & have 1st press 1Y-1G/ 2Y-2G/ 1Y-2G/ 2Y-1G matrix stampers.

Gatefold Sleeve: Some mild to moderate wear. VG condition.

Vinyl 1: There are some light sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, and one light hairline mark. There are some minor pressing marks too. VG++ condition. There is some mild foxing on the labels. Otherwise mild spindle wear. Plays very well indeed. There is some very light crackle in some quieter places. There is some writing on the plain paper inner sleeve.

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.50 to £7.75 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.25 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £30. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
