Description

Anthrax – Among the Living (1987)

 

3rd Studio album by US thrash metal band Anthrax. Released 22nd March 1987 it was certified gold by 1990. 

Often cited by fans as their favorite Anthrax album, drummer and songwriter Charlie Benante called it their “signature album”.

The record was dedicated to Cliff Burton of Metallica who died in a bus accident 6 months before release. The album name was inspired by Stephen King’s book The Stand. 

Rolling Stone has ranked Among the Living 20th on ‘The 100 greatest metal albums of all time’.

 

Album reference: ILPS9865, this is an original first pressing. In Very Good + condition.

Some edger scuffs to cover (see pics) but otherwise in very good condition.  See pics for reference. There is an Island life anniversary sticker lower corner of cover.
