Description
SIZE IS APPROX - 34CM LENGTH - WIDTH 19CM HEIGHT 36CM
Have been buying selling and collecting records for over 20 years and never seen one of these. This item is SOLID and HEAVY made of wood covered in black leather or rexine (not sure). It is classed as a cabinet guessing due to the weight and how it opens with a clasp on the side. When you open it amazingly has card slots for roughly 30-50 records (i have counted dont quote me). Inside bottom is hinged with a solid metal hinge and has a lovely makers plate with patent details. Guessing it is from the 1920s but could be slighly newer or older. Only found one the same in black online and that is held at the national trust museum. A real collectors antique. Only gave it a quick clean so solid with marks from age and wear to the black covering. Genuine find ready to be reloved , restoraged or displayed. A real talking point Auction will run no buy it now. Do not bid if you havent got the funds Will put it on international via ebay global shipping but remember it is heavy and ebay set the shipping cost via global shipping. UK sent well packed via hermes tracked postage
