AFX / Aphex Twin - Analord (series) 11 x 12" EPs UK 2005 Rephlex
This is a complete set of the eleven 12" EP's in the Analord series. They were purchased new from a record shop, so I have the picture disc version of Analord 10. All have their original sleeves. The picture disc comes in a thicker clear PVC sleeve, the other records come in lighter clear poly sleeves. Rephlex put barcoded title stickers on some of the sleeves. Records that had a barcode on the label just have a plain sleeve. I have not removed any official stickers. The sleeve of the picture disc is an extremely tight fit, so I stored this one in a Nagaoka anti-static sleeve. I'm happy to include this in the sale, along with the original PVC sleeve, as well.
From my own personal collection and all were purchased new on their respective first day of release. I take a lot of pride in looking after my vinyl collection and these have been well cared for. The most any one side has been played is 2 or 3 times. The vinyl surfaces either look EX+/NrMINT or better. The exception to this is the Aside of Analord 05. This is graded as EX/EX- due to a small noticeable surface mark (see last photo). This was there from new and has no effect on play. Regarding playing condition (apart from the picture disc), the overwhelming majority of the tracks play as NrMINT, or better. SideB of Analord 11 plays as EX+. On to the picture disc, as you may know, the sound quality of picture discs doesn't compare to regular vinyl. Personally, I find it hard to grade the sound quality of brand new picture discs higher than EX. Analord 10 is no exception. Even though it plays with no real difference to when it was new the sound quality is clearly inferior to the other ten records in the series. The Bside also has 2 or 3 pops on the intro. The lightweight poly sleeves have some storage marks and scuffs but there are no seam splits. Please be assured this set will be securely packed and sent by a fully insured tracked service. In no rush to sell...time for someone else to enjoy owning.
