Description
Up for bid here is a copy of one of Aphex Twin's all-time great releases, the Richard D. James Album. This is a brand new, unplayed, mint White Label copy of the album. The album didn't come in a cardboard sleeve, but it does have a white paper dust cover. I received this from Warp Records 12+ years ago as part of a package full of other purchases. Back when I was buying tons of vinyl from Warp they were known for stuffing extra LPs, test pressings, limited releases, stickers, CDs, etc... into orders as a sign of thanks for the purchase, and probably also to keep people coming back to buy more in the future. At the time I received this white label I already owned the RDJ Album, so I had no need to play this copy. I can't find too many references to this record online, so this is probably a pretty collectible piece. I'm clearing out a chunk of my electronic music LPs and memorabilia and I figured this might help someone plug a hole in their Aphex Twin collection.
I have been having tons of trouble uploading pictures to ebay lately but I wanted to get this auction started. I will attempt to add a photo of the white label sticker after the auction has started. If anyone needs to see a picture before bidding please let me know and I can email one your way.
I will be shipping the record USPS to the winning bidder. United States bidders only, please. I'm known for my thorough and protective packing/shipping, so rest assured if you are the winning bidder this record will make it to you in pristine shape. If you use the Buy It Now option I'll cover the cost of shipping. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask, I'm happy to help. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
