This one’s gonna be tough to let go of. Ever see one of these? This is an original Apple Records shipping box complete with a quantity 25 copies of John Lennon’s “Cold Turkey” single backed with Yoko’s “Don’t Worry Kyoko” from October, 1969. When the record stores ordered their stock of Apple singles, this is how they received them. Try and even speculate how many complete sets remain today.
All singles are store-bought near-mint condition, and they all have original Apple sleeves. These are the West Coast pressings.
The box shows moderate signs of wear. There is masking tape residue across the back, and a one inch split at the bottom. The record number is written on the bottom in black crayon in the space provided.
I doubt you’ll see another chance at owning this. If it doesn’t sell, I’ll probably not relist it. Be sure to check out my other auctions as well.
