Description

Apple Records LP master reference LP cut on September 17, 1971 and September 20, 1971. Earth Song - Ocean Song by Mary Hopkins, produced by Tony Viscanti. This is an acetate cutting done by playing the master tape to a cutting machine and transcribing to a metal disc coated in plastic. The label on S/1 says Apple 1700 Broadway, New York and is typewritten "Mary Hopkin # stereo, side one" with titles "International," "Got to be More," "Silver Brick." "Here Comes the Sun, " and "Earth Song." Side Two is a typewritten label with Sterling Sound, 110 West 57th St, New York 10019 (212) 757-8519. The titles, as on side one, are typewritten on the label.  This reference master has been stored since 9/20/1971 and NEVER played. It is in mint condition and one of a kind.
