Dear visitors to this auction,
In April of 1976, Abdel Halim Hafez had his annual "Sham El Naseem" concert. In this concert he sang his new song "Karet El Fengan". Singing this song for the first time lasted over 3.5 hours. Of course, it has been well known about the few rats who made a lot of noise which Halim waited over 30 minutes and refused to sing until the quieted down. During that time, Halim said to those people what he needed to say. Unlike how it is reported in the movei Halim (which I wish the counseled me before making the movie), the noise was only in the beginning and before he ever started to sing. This was not the only concert where those implanted rats made noise, i have another concert (presented later maybe) where Halim (my beloved) says sothing to those rats.
Anyways, after completing the first part of the concert and completing "Karet El Fingan", he took a break as he normally did. During the break a singer named "A'atab" which I believe was from Saudia Arabia sang until Halim was ready for his second and last part of the concert.
During this part, he changed his suit from black to gray and sang 4 old songs.
I am presenting to you the second part of the concert in its entirely (complete from the introduction and without cut), after the introduction, Halim asks the audience if they liked A'atab (the singer).
Then he goes on and sings 4 songs. The length of this whole thing is about 90 minutes uncut.
Imagine signing Karet El Fengan in over 3 hours and coming back and signing for over 2 more hours.
This is very rare and I am offering it to you and it will be sent as MP3 because there is no disc that can record audio for that long without breaking it up.
The weird and amazing this in the concert, he started this part by saying "Now, if you don't mind I like to go back 20 years. I will sign "Touba" whic is the first melody for Mohammed Abdel Wahab, the last melody "if I live" I will sign in Feb. Of course he was talking about "Men Ghyer Leah" which he never sang in puplic.
