Area- international pop group- Arbeit Macht Frei (il lavoro rende liberi), released by Cramps records (CRS LP5101/1/2) in 1973 in Stereomono.  Made in Italy.  Original Italian pressing!!! (see photo of label with Italian customs stamp on it).  This comes with the original inner sleeve but does not include the gun insert.

*Arbeit Macht Frei, Area's first album, is easily one of the most dynamic, unique and brilliant works in the history of progressive rock, and it is praised by many as one of the finest albums of the genre.  Area were an essential element to the rich and ambitious development of Italian prog rock.  Led by the wide-ranging, experimental & ethnic vocals of Demetrio Statos, Area's sound cannot easily be explained.  In addition to being a prog masterpiece, this LP is also considered essential to the avant-prog "rock-in-oppision", or RIO, movement of this era.  The lead guitar shares the same heady Mediterranean psychedelic sound as that of the brilliant Erkin Koray!  Anchored by a highly rhythmic & pulsating bass guitar, Area not only played with the most dynamic and superior musical precision, but they supported this sound with wild horn blasts, keyboards and a variety of experimental sounds.  It simply doesn't get much better than this!  A highly recommended LP for all fans of Italian prog, Krautrock, and genre-bending, jaw-dropping music in general!*

The thick Vinyl is play-graded in VG+ condition.  The record plays with an incredibly full and dynamic sound.  I only heard one very minor pop in my listen.  Otherwise, this record sounds absolutely sensational and perfect!  100% guaranteed!  Visually, when looked at under a bright light, the record shows a very rich luster and a few, incredibly light surface marks.

The Gatefold Cover is graded in VG condition, showing some fairly minor ring and edge wear, as well as some very minor price-tag residue.  Overall, it still looks wonderful.

Shipping is calculated by ebay at the actual cost for you, the consumer. I don't charge any extra fees for material or handling.
