Description
Aretha Franklin was an American singer, songwriter, pianist, and civil rights activist. Her father was a minister in Detroit, Michigan, where Franklin began her career as a child singing gospel at his church. By the end of the 1960's, Aretha had become known as the 'Queen of Soul'. "Aretha Now" is her thirteenth studio album, released in 1968. It hit #3 on the Billboard's Album Chart. Classic Aretha! Aretha is gone, but her legacy continues. She was on a serious unstoppable roll in the mid 60's. Item is in excellent condition. Atlantic Records, #SD 8186, Stereo, no barcode. Thank you for looking.
