Description

Rare, Test pressing of Aretha Franklin "Lady Soul".   This is the original mono test press from 1968.
The mono has cleaner sound then the stereo which has issues (break up on peaks, sibilant). Plays clean without sibilants or distortion
Atlantic Records 8176. Mono.
Matrix # A-12733-A                A-12734-A
Record:  Side One: EX+ plays great. Shiny with very few signs of play.                                   No scratches.                 Side Two: EX- has hairlines, a few light marks. No scratches.                                   Plays great with very few minor light ticks/surface at beginning.                   Cover:  VG+                Has edge wear.              Spine & top seam good. Bottom seam has 3" split at opening.
