Description

isnw_ec From the world's number one source for rare and hard to find Arizona desert platters,  some Arizona Garage/Pop by P-Nut Butter titled "Kitty" (Cat Stevens) b/w "Please Don't Ever Lave Me" on Fat Orange Records #1001 w/ picture sleeve from 1968.  Condition: Vinyl/Labels visually M-.  Picture sleeve: VG++ (a few wrinkles).  Hard to find a better copy.  See scans.  This is a 45 rpm record.  No Reserve.  Good Luck!
And now some more history...Some of the bands that got a lot of local attention in Phoenix in the 60's were the Vibratos and P-Nut Butter that were house bands at The VIP Club and Stage 7 on 7th Street. They both got significant airplay at the time and there is a great CD collection of their songs available right here.  This one is from 1968 and was their only single on the Phoenix based Fat Orange Records label.  Produced at Audio Recorders of Arizona by John Florez (Friends Of Distinction, Five Flights Up) and arranged by Ray Cork.  This record features “Kitty” and “Please Don’t Leave Me” and comes in this brilliant full color sleeve. It’s printed on one side, but what an unusual one, eh?  You’ll note they make a bit of a fuss about Phil Motta on the sleeve, a popular local DJ on KRIZ 1230 am. That’s got to be a sure way to get some airplay!  The record was recorded at Audio Recorders Of Arizona on on 7/17/68 and pressed (500?) at Wakefield Manufacturing in Phoenix, in November of 1968, Wakefield house # sjw 10691.  Now is your opportunity to add this groovy garage group platter to your collection.
This is a 45 rpm record.   Check my positive feedback and bid with confidence. Satisfaction Guaranteed.
