Armagedom is a Brazilian hardcore punk and crust band formed in 1982, known for their heavy, aggressive sound and politically charged lyrics. Emerging from São Paulo’s underground scene, Armagedom became a significant figure in the Brazilian and South American metal/punk crossover movement. Their music blends elements of hardcore punk with extreme metal, particularly thrash and death metal, creating a raw, intense atmosphere.
Silêncio Fúnebre, released in 1986, is one of Armagedom’s seminal works and an important record in the Brazilian punk scene.
