Rare Original UK LP released in 1973 on the Red & Silver Regal Zonophone label. Cat: SLRZ 1038.  

ARMAN RATIP The Spy From Istanbul (Very rare 1973 UK 4-track stereo vinyl LP on Regal Zonophone by the Turkish pianist, one of the hardest releases to find in the Lansdowne Series, recorded by Britain's greatest jazz producer Denis Preston. Also stars trumpeter Marc Charig [Keith Tippett, Soft Machine], Harry Miller on bass & Keith Bailey, drums, for this exotic freeform session.

Tracks: The spy from Istanbul/ Nightmare/ Angel face/ Space fantasy.

There are a few very light spindle marks on labels. Record has one or two very light small scuff marks and plays in Near Mint condition. Slightly textured cover has a small surface tear on top right corner where sticker has been removed and a small tear on bottom right and back bottom left corner, there is also a small light crease mark on back right centre edge of spine. There is only the faintest hint of ring wear and no marks on cover. All seams are fully intact. Cover is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.

Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.

Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
