"Jazz At The Pawnshop"

(Proprius Records 7778-79 Double LP 1977)

 

This is an original Double LP pressing. Manufactured in Sweden It has a matt gatefold sleeve which has a "Imported & Distributed by Rega Research Ltd..." sticker on the rear. It has plain polythene-lined inner sleeves.

The records are pressed on thick vinyl & have 1st press A/ B/ A2/ B2 matrix stampers. This album is considered to be one of the best Jazz recordings of the 20th century. A superb audiophile Jazz LP.

 

 

Gatefold Sleeve: There is a small sticker tear to the front sleeve. There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear, in a couple of places, to the top & bottom edges. There is also some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is a tiny 5 mm tear at the front sleeve opening. There is some mild fading & some light rubbing wear to spine. VG condition.

Vinyl 1: There are some light to mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. VG+ condition. The labels are clean & show mild spindle wear only. Plays Excellent overall & Excellent+ in many places. Very well indeed!

Vinyl 2: There are some light, mild, & more moderate on one side, sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are two very small marks on one side too. VG condition. The labels are clean & show mild spindle wear only. Plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall. There is some light, or very light, crackle in some quieter places.

The inner sleeves are in Near EX to EX overall.


Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

 

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
