Description
Art Blakely & The Jazz Messengers - Buhaina's Delight LP (1962, Blue Note BLP 4104). 1st pressing mono with laminate cover. Has all the markings of 1st press (Van Gelder stamp, 'ear' inscription, NY on label etc...). Comes with original Blue Note insert.
Vinyl is a strong VG+, plays beautifully throughout - no surface noise or pops, plays more like a NM. Visually there are light surface scuffs present with an overall nice gloss.
Cover is VG-, bottom part of the record showing moisture damage to the laminate (wrinkling around corner) and on the paper back where the cardboard is showing through near bottom and some staining from moisture on back as well - see photos for all. Still a solid overall jacket.
