Description
A rare copy of Art Blakey- A Night At Birdland Volume 1 Blue Note 1521. This is the blue & white Deep Groove Blue Note label with Blue Note Records - 47 West 63rd- New York 23 on both sides - see photos.
The etched matrix numbers are; BN-LP-1521-A 9M RVG BN-LP-1521-B 9M RVG See photos.
The record has been thoroughly cleaned in our amazing Degritter and the vinyl has come up shiny but with visible scuffs and hairlines to both sides which do not affect playback. Wonderful vibrant mono sound with a great live atmosphere. There is some light mottling to labels but still pretty clean with some spindle trails.
The outer sleeve is a strong VG with no splits and laminate still intact with only slight creasing/lift beginning in the top LH corner. Corner rubbing as you would expect and some light browning to opening edge and rear.
Complete with original printed BN inner sleeve, however we have placed the record into an archival inner sleeve to preserve it after cleaning, you will receive both.
The record will be sent in an archival outer sleeve.
