Description
Mega Rare LP of Art Blakey Big Band (Bethlehem BCP-6027 - mono) Original red labels with deep groove on both sides. Legendary session featuring Blakey along with basically every major player at the time. The roster includes Sahib Shihab, John Coltrane, Donald Byrd, Jimmy Cleveland, Melba Liston, Al Cohn, Walter Bishop and even more in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG/VG+ condition with lots of marks that will make noise - not for the audiophile in any way - you will definitely hear noise on this one. The cover is in remarkable VG++ condition with just a bit of light age/shelf wear, but incredibly NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. Definitely NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore at any price?
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).
Shipping discounts available for multiple items sent together to any country.
Mailing costs have gone up. Postal rates have increased, the cost of record mailers have increased and e-bay now charges a fee for mailing (in addition to Paypal’s fees on mailing payments). I have done what I can to keep mailing costs down, but I have no control over these increases.
International mailing costs: International overseas mailing (Europe, Japan, Asia etc…) for one LP would be $29.00. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on shipping, Paypal fees as well as mailers and packing materials. One LP to Canada would be $18.00
US mailing costs: Media mail rate as calculated to a U.S. address. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on shipping, Paypal fees as well as mailers and packing materials.
Paypal accepted or write for other payment options. Serious bidders only - payment must be received in ten days from notification. All items are guaranteed upon return in condition sent, but mailing costs are NOT refundable. Thanks for your interest and good luck.
