Art Blakey Quintet "A Night At Birdland Volume 1" Blue Note BLP-1521 (Mono, 1956) Original Lexington Ave. Deep Groove Pressing. Cover is original version with bird drawings. Jacket has 5" seam split along vertical spine, as well as 1" split beginning lower-right spine at opening. Otherwise just minimal storage wear to this very beautiful and rare original print. Vinyl plays through very quietly, with no skips and just some extremely light background noise, with the occasional pop/tick here and there. This vinyl plays beautifully and sounds great! Feel free to e-mail with any specific questions. Please see scans of labels and partial scan of jacket. PLEASE NOTE: Scan reduction makes LP jackets seem a bit blurry, therefore back cover print may be hard to read. See label scans for track listings. LP Jackets are bigger than my scanner bed, so these are just partial scans, to highlight specific areas, or to confirm the exact LP you are bidding on. I am not an expert in the vinyl grading business, but i do my best. So far, i've had many very happy bidders, and many repeat customers from all over the globe. Any specific questions are welcomed. Information provided is from Goldmine's Price Guide To Collectible Jazz Albums 1949-1969, 2nd Edition. If you collect vintage jazz vinyl, you'll want to bookmark my auctions. I will be listing many LPs from the 50s and 60s in the very near future. Listings will include many first pressings on Prestige, Blue Note, Riverside, Columbia, Capitol, Savoy, Impulse!, Verve, EmArcy, and many more. Stay Tuned! U.S. Shipping is $3.95 Media Mail. Shipped in sturdy cardboard vinyl mailers, with strong cardboard padding. When room permits, additional bubble wrap is also used. Jackets are placed in plastic sleeves, and most of the time vinyl is removed from the jacket to prevent further seam splitting. Very careful and sturdy packing.
