Ya'll gonna dig this one. Good gracious ... this set. This sound, in mono, plastylite press ... I don't even know what to say. The energy is unreal. And this copy as a bit of a rough cover, but the sounds on this vinyl are phenomenal ... someone really should snag this. VG+ play on a deal.

VINYL: VG (8.0 of 10) Original Blue label, Deep groove, 63rd label, RVG hand etched, Plastylite Ear, MONO .. the works. It's heavy. And yes, you read that right; it's a VG with really high number value. Because it looks like VG ... but I'm here go guarantee you VG+ play ... hands down. Some dull marks (most longer, but very light) and superficial paper scuffs (worst damage is photographed) ... I assumed VG playback ... not this thing ... my lord this thing punches you in the face. It played through everything without even a sneeze. I am floored at how good it actually sounds. It's loud. Very loud.
COVER: VG- (4.5 of 10)  The cover is a bit rough. Front looks pretty high gloss and glorious. Spine has about 7" split in the middle (and tape residue from where someone taped it at one time). 2" split on bottom opening. Top seam has some chipping, but generally held together OK. Back has quite a bit of wear on it. _________________________________________________________________ Now the standard messages:

GRADING: Yes I use standard grading. HOWEVER, I will NEVER use the word "mint" or "near mint" to describe a used LP ... sorry, won't do it. The highest I go is VG+. I use a number after to more represent a combination of how the vinyl looks and how it sounds. 10 is the best. I'll describe what I see in addition. I've found the combination of these two can minimize expectation gaps. But ask questions when in doubt.

CLEANING: Yes. All vinyl is cleaned ... on my own machine I made. Vacuum machine. I wash and rinse with my own formula cleaners -- once with my enzyme cleaner, and rinsed with my own distilled water/alcohol formula. ... this process has worked for me for years.

TESTING: Yes. I've listened to the records I sell. I play on a Lenco L70, via Denon 103 MC cart; tube preamp, a Dynaco ST-70 all tube amp to KLH 17 speakers. An super tubey setup, right!?

RETURNS: Generally a no go, unless you have a damn compelling reason. But if there's a serious problem, I'm sure we can figure it out with a return. I mean, I am an adult ... allegedly. But I dp describe accurately, offer time for questions, and I deal in used records, not new stuff ... yes, it's always kind of a gamble buying via eBay, which is why I try to do my best to make an objective attempt to describe the LP in question. ASK QUESTIONS WHEN IN DOUBT. I promise, we can make this an easy transaction.
