Description

Dark red and silver label with “M IV” printed in black on both labels, deep groove. 6 tracks and 1 track with comments by Blakey. Includes Jackie McLean, alto sax (listed on the back cover as tenor sax); Bill Hardman, trumpet; Sam Dockery, piano; Spanky DeBrest, bass. The tune “Ritual” is a superb demonstration of Blakey enormous drum skills. Cover: VG+. Top edge has entirely split. Name of previous owner written in red pencil on the back cover margin. Light aging on the back cover. A small amount of aging on the front cover. Minor edge wear. Record: Mint(-). Visually shows no wear. Played several times with no markings on the vinyl. No surface noise. Fine copy. Audibly checked.
