Description
Art Blakey And The Jazz Messengers – Moanin' • Music Matters • SRX • Vivid, punchy sound • Bought new from Music Matters Jazz • Played about 4-5x using high end Audio Technica AT-ART9XA moving coil cartridge.
Side One:
Visual grade • Ex- (very faint hairline scratches)
Track One • Light vinyl ticks at times.
Track Two • Vinyl ticks at times.
Track Three • Vinyl ticks at times. One mildish pop. Some clicks/ticks during piano solo and last chorus.
Side Two: VG+ (very faint hairline scratches, scuffs)
Track One • sparse vinyl ticks, one pop
Track Two • vinyl ticks in places, couple pops.
Track Three • Some pops & vinyl ticks in places including bass solo.
I was told if record is properly cleaned/rinsed it may play even quieter, but I don’t have such a device so just something I read regarding SRX records.
None of the audible surface points mentioned overpower the music. But I play graded this listening intently and making notes.
