Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped stereo “P”-pressing of Art Blakey “And the Jazz Messengers” on the West 63rd St. labels of Blue Note BST-4003. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated West 63rd cover - with the rare original serif font on the bottom of the back slick - is bright and clean throughout, with the gold “Stereo” sticker on the front; 2” wear (no split) on the bottom seam, at the opening. Personnel include Lee Morgan, Benny Golson, Bobby Timmons, and Jymie Merritt. WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL.
