Description

 Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers Live at Cafe Bohemia. This is a 767 Lexington Ave earlier pressing deep groove on both sides original Blue Note pressing. Blue Note 1507. Condition of record is VG++ to excellent, has1 very light surface mark on side 2, nearly invisible, but accurate grading is what I am trying to do. This is a gem of a record and a definite collectors item, so please only serious bidders. This is a 1st pressing, deep groove original 767 Lexington Avenue pressing, which is more valuable than the 43 w 63rd street version of this recording. RVG and ear in the dead wax, not a flat edge pressing. Art Blakey has his first version of the Messengers here, Horace Silver, Kenny Dorham, Hank Mobley and Doug Watkins join Art for Soft Winds, The Theme, Prince Albert, Minor's Holiday and Alone Together.Any Blue Note records fan or collector should jump at the chance to own this gem.
