This is the original French issue of the Art Ensemble of Chicago “REESE AND THE SMOOTH ONES” on BYG 529 329. The playing surface is MINT, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated gatefold cover is immaculate throughout, with sharp corners and perfect seams. Personnel include Lester Bowie, Roscoe Mitchell, Joseph Jarman, and Malachi Favors.
