Description
Art Pepper with Red Garland, Paul Chambers & Philly Joe Jones “Art Pepper Meets The Rhythm Section” 1957 first pressing, deep-groove label Contemporary Records (# C 3532 mono) in a cardboard sleeve. This is the “red print” on the back cover edition. The record grading is Excellent (EX). It’s very clean and plays smooth & rich with no “off” background noise. There are no visible surface marks. The following is on the runout groove:
-
Side A): (stamped) LKL-12-121-D2 A
-
Side B): (stamped) LKL-12-122-D2 B
The outer case is also Excellent (EX). The front cover & back covers are very clean & smooth with barely a hint of age wear. The spine just has some cracks, yet both seams are EX with no splits. Overall, a very sturdy cover. (all reflected in the photos) All sales final.
NOTE: This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom
