Description
Maroon label with silver text, deep groove, original. Leader, Art Pepper, alto sax; Russ Freeman, piano; Bobby White, drums; Bob Whitlock, bass. 8 tracks.
Cover: VG 1" split on the bottom edge at the insert edge. Small identification tape (1"X1/2") a the upper corner of the back cover. Slight wear on the front cover that follows a record ring pattern. Light aging on the back cover with slight foxing near the spine.
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. 1 small surface rub mark on Side 1 and a few light brush-like rub marks that are barely visible and do not affect the sound. Played only a few times with care. Minor, barely audible groove noise on the first 1 or 2 revolutions on Track 2, Side 1 and 2 or 3 very light clicks towards the end of Track 2, Side 1. Slight groove noise through Track 3, Side 1. This is very light but audible. Side 2 has slight groove noise on the first 2 revolutions on Track 2 and on a few revolutions at the end of this track. I have detailed the condition. The overall condition is excellent with only the minor noise described. The fine sound is outstanding for an early 10" LP pressing. Audibly checked.
