Art Zoyd 'Phase IV' LP 1982 France Dark Jazz Unmelodies Rock In Opposition Magma

Description

Their fourth album of odd and enticing avant-zeuhl free jazz  score searching for a film that does not exist. France's Art Zoyd assault the senses with dramatic build ups and hurried Canterbury excursions that often feels a step away from a heavy prog break beat that never happens. Beautifully disturbing and un-easy listening could describe this highly original ensemble. Original 1982 pressing on the obscure English Recommended Records label.  Cover is a solid EX+. The clean double vinyls are NM.
