Description

Arthur Alexander ‎A Shot Of Rhythm And Soul 1983 Ace CH66 LP UK Import Plays NM. Hand cleaned, play tested = NM. Plays Perfect! Amazing and influential songs, singing and arrangements. Classic early 60's that influenced the Beatles (they covered his "Anna") and countless British and American Singers. Look up Travis Wammack and his amazing cover of "You Better Move On". Album jacket is thin, laminated cardboard, but is in NM condition with no seam splitting. Ace Records (UK) always find the best sound sources and this album is no exception. I couldn't recommend this album any higher for fans of classic R&B. Will ship safely in a new, plastic outer sleeve. *Ace Records is out of the U.K., But this pressing was pressed in Germany according to the runouts and is a Sonopress repressing.
