Henry Butler 30/10/23 ## Arthur Wilton Brown is an English singer and songwriter best known for his flamboyant and theatrical performances, eclectic (and sometimes experimental) work and his powerful, wide-ranging operatic voice, in particular his high pitched banshee screams. He is also notable for his unique stage persona, featuring extreme face-paint and a burning helmet. Brown has been lead singer of various groups, most notably the Crazy World of Arthur Brown and Kingdom Come, followed by a varied solo career as well as associations with Hawkwind, the Who and Klaus Schulze. In the late 1960s, the Crazy World of Arthur Brown's popularity was such that the group shared bills with the Who, Jimi Hendrix, the Mothers of Invention, the Doors, the Small Faces and Joe Cocker, among others. ## The Vinyl is described as Near Mint & played to its grading, average background & no skips or stops. Very few signs of play. Maybe 1 or 2 extremely fine hairlines and/or sleeve marks. Can't see any spindle marks. The Vinyl has retained all of its rich waxy lustre. The Cover is conservatively described as VG+. There is some visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is some minor ring wear to front & verso. There are some colour & paper losses to edges & spine. There are some areas of minor foxing to front & verso. Darkening visible along borders of the spine on both sides. No seam splits. The Inner Sleeve is described as Excellent with no seam splits Please see attached photos...
