Description

Arthur Crudup's 45 rpm single "That's All Right," RCA 50-0000-A, 1954, original, red vinyl. The vinyl looks VG+. The label is near-mint except for a small white sticker on both sides with "K-8" written on it, as pictured. The flip side song is "Crudup's After Hours," I played "That's All Right" and it plays a little worse than it looks, I'd say VG, but the surface noise sounds more like a result of the quality of the vinyl than condition of the record. (Colored vinyl records are thinner and do not wear as well, and many think the colored wax is not on a par with the sound quality of the dark wax.) It is still very much an enjoyable record, with no skips and Crudup's classic voice clear as ever. The bluesman is at his finest with this song he wrote and that Elvis, of course, made famous. I like the part where Crudup says, "Yeah man," right before the guitar break. The scan shows a dark area on the edge of the vinyl. This is on both sides and is not a foreign substance, and appears to have come off the press this way. The record comes with its original RCA paper sleeve as pictured; the sleeve does have some tears and creases.

The mailing cost is $3 first class if inside the 48 contiguous U.S. states. I do combine orders for mailing in the U.S. Win up to six records and pay the same, $3, for all six, although they may have to go the slower, media mail route. For seven or more records, e-mail me for the rate. Mailing insurance is optional, add $2 if you want it.

To Canada, the mailing cost is $4 for the first record and 50 cents for each additional record up to six discs. For overseas bidders, $7 for first record, and $1 for each additional record up to six discs. To mail more than six discs together anywhere outside the 48 states, please e-mail me for the mailing rate.
