Description
Arthur - Dreams and Images was released in 1968 on Lee Hazlewood's LHI records (LHI 12000). Produced by Hazlewood as well, within recent years it has gained in stature in it's own right. It is a beautiful moody record that reminds me of a West Coast male version of Nico's Chelsea Girl - dark and quiet.

A respected seller on eBay, cwbparker (check out his auctions!) sold a stereo copy last weeks and had this to say about it:
"Soft,haunting effects of Arthur's voice render it another world quality! The instrumentation is sparse and sounds like organ and harp mixed together. One of those elusive top ten records of my psych collection. Some people say Arthur is Arthur Lee Harper and some people say that is not the case. I don't know, but what I do know is, this is one of the best psych records of it's type and you'll never forget it once you've heard it!"
Overall the vinyl is Mint Minus with one flaw that brings it down to VG+. The vinyl is very clean and shiny and doesn't look to have been played more than a dozen times. Near the end of "Pandora" (side 2, song 2) there are about 5 low pops due to what seems to be a tiny foreign particle underneath the surface of the vinyl.
The cover is VG. It has a 2" crease on the front near the opening, a few areas of bubbling in the lower left corner, ringwear (check out the photo ) and a 3/4" split on the top center.
