Description

Very rare UK first issue of this killer hard bop LP from Arthur Taylor, Charlie Rouse and Frank Foster - 'Taylor's Tenors'. Released on Esquire in the UK in 1959 (Cat. No. 32-149).

Vinyl in decent shape, with faint hairlines and light surface marks, but plays back great in general - lively and engaging. A few light ticks at the start of 'Cape Millie', and the odd faint tick elsewhere. Sleeve in decent shape too, minor wear to opening edge, and some light marks on front. Rear shows some ringwear and discolouration, as is usual with these flipback sleeves. Inner sleeve in decent condition albeit with some with discolouration/browning. Overall a solid copy of this fantastic record, would conservatively grade it as VG / VG.
