Artwoods Jazz In Jeans Original Uk Decca EP DFE 8654 1966 1st Press Mod.
ORIGINAL first pressing of this rare and collectible EP from legendary band The Artwoods/Art Woods. Decca 1966 EP, mono, DFE 8654, in original sleeve. Matrix numbers: EFF-2884-1C and EFF-2885-1C. This is NOT one of the much later represses - this is the original pressing Mod/freakbeat/blues/rock history.
This EP is EXTREMELY rare and HARDLY EVER comes up for sale - ESPECIALLY not in this condition!
Condition is EXCELLENT or NEAR MINT: No tears and only one light crease on right - White colour on cover still nice and bright, with only minor browning on back. There is only the slightest impression of the disc on the back. Laminated cover not peeling at all. The disc itself has only some very light marks, and playback is Stunning- no skips and not even any crackles or pops. A copy in this condition is virtually impossible to find. The pictures speak for themselves!
No writing on labels, no tears or stickers. It’s a fabulous copy.
I am a lifelong record collector and am reluctantly parting with some of my more treasured records.
