Description
As described in the enclosed Asch catalog: "In the style of the 'Blues' album #550, Asch is pleased to present this album, the second of a series. These ballads were the forerunners of the modern folk songs and the songs of tin pan alley. They have remained here in their original form during the turmoil of war and the strife in Europe for the past century". The artists names and their songs appear on the inside cover photo on the bottom right. The records are in NM condition (the Josh White side has some minor scuffing) and the cover is in excellent condition but has some minor staining and wear.
