Description

DESCRIPTION: Ash Ra Tempels first self titled LP. Cover still in shrinkwrap and the resealable plastic bag that I purchased it in. Bought as new , unplayed and still sealed. I have played both sides twice. Im selling it as I bought the original recently. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: SPALAX LP14144 (originally OMM 56013) YEAR OF RELEASE: 2004 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: France CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): NM/M. Vinyl is immaculate with a deep dark sheen. Ive played it twice so cannot grade mint as i only do that with sealed/unplayed. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds superb. This is an amazing LP. If you have not heard it, you are in for a treat, particularly side 1. It plays clear and loud with fantastic seperation. Its nigh on impossible to get a quiet playing original due to the ambient nature of much of side 2. After 40 years vinyl is going to have some surface sound, so if you want a really nice sounding copy of this classic Lp, an official reissue like this is what you want (rather than a shitty bootleg). Cover still in shrinkwrap and in outer resealable bag. The thin paper inner sleeve has 1" splits in all 3 edges, probably due to the weight of the vinyl- its quite a heavy beast. Cover is firm and square and has NO edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. The cover is simply perfect. Immaculate labels. Obviously no writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
