Assortment of 70 Classical Records Mostly Deutsche Grammophon Large Lot
An assortment of 70 Classical Deutsche Grammophon records (plus a smattering of other labels.)I recently purchased a large collection of classical records from a local university music department.
I've gone through them and kept the ones I wanted and am selling the rest in bulk.
You can assume I've kept the more valuable ones!
I've sold the ones of low value on Craig's list (The large group of 700 went for the best offer of $100).
I'm going to be selling these mostly by label.
This group will be by Deutsche Grammophon with a smattering of Epic, Mercury and RCA.
There will be stickers on some of the jackets and record labels. There may be small seam splits, failing glue and other flaws to the jackets.
The records I'm saving have sounded somewhere between VG+ to NM with most of them being closer to the high end.
I've done a random check of 6 records from this group. Four of them were NM- to excellent with two being VG+. This was a bit lower grade than I thought it would be, so a checked another five records. Four were NM- to excellent with one being VG+. Since I did not check all the records, there may be flaws I'm not aware of.
If you're looking for valuable records, you're not going to find them here.
If you just want music to listen to, these will do just fine!
The records will be wrapped in plastic, then cardboard and secured in bulk with shipping tape. This block of records will then be shipped in a U-haul moving box. View my other auctions! 566 (GS 6.7.1 (566))
