The Great Speckled Bird magazine July 1973 Featuring articles of the time, that history and so much more.
The advertisements inside are amazing, revealing a glimpse of the local music scene, the history of the Strip and what was happening in Hot Lanta in the 70’s.
There is a lot of information about the bands plying in town, local issues, music venues, and all those little shops that used to be up and down the strip.
I got this from a vendor selling them named Chicken Man who I saw there 12 years later too. In 73 I stuffed it in my backpack, read it a few times , brought it home and threw it in a trunk. I am moving now so I’m getting rid of a lot of things this included Buy it you’ll like it. It’s cool.
