Description
This is part of a "Leftovers" auction I'm doing. I just didn't have time to list these when I did their label-specific auction. There are 10-20 records each from Atlantic, Excello, Checker and Chess. Some absolutely killer stuff there that I can't believe I didn't get to the first time around.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: The Diamonds - I'll Live Again / Two Loves Have I
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1953
Notes: Original 1953 release with the yellow labels. The third of only four singles released by this group out of Harlem in the 1950's. Great classically doo-wop tracks on both sides. I'm unsure how this group didn't take off, but they didn't. Great stuff here that is very much worth a listen.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in nice shape, with no real scuffs or scratches, but does have some hazing from liquid exposure. Both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels have some light scuffing and dirtiness. This one plays so well, that I'm keeping it as a VG+, but on the lower end because of the labels.
Sleeve Condition: All the Atlantic sleeves are in about the same condition. They have all been exposed to liquid and are wrinkled, but not bend or torn. Seems have been "steamed" loose on some. The present well, but are probably truly in G/G+ condition.
Look for awesome Gospel auction coming in Mid-November then I'm off for the rest of the year. Still have some great stuff to sell and will be back at it in January.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
