Description

This is part of a "Leftovers" auction I'm doing. I just didn't have time to list these when I did their label-specific auction.  There are 10-20 records each from Atlantic, Excello, Checker and Chess.  Some absolutely killer stuff there that I can't believe I didn't get to the first time around.

Here's the info on this item:

Release: LaVerne Baker - I'm Living My Life For You / I Can't Hold Out Any Longer

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1954

Notes: Original 1954 release with the yellow labels. The third single released by Baker. More arranged/jazzy tunes than some of her other stuff. Gorgeous vocals on both sides through.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in nice shape, with no real scuffs or scratches, but does have some very light hazing from liquid exposure. Both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels have a couple of spots of dirtiness, but not too bad. A solid copy overall.

Sleeve Condition: All the Atlantic sleeves are in about the same condition.  They have all been exposed to liquid and are wrinkled, but not bend or torn.  Seems have been "steamed" loose on some.  The present well, but are probably truly in G/G+ condition.

Look for awesome Gospel auction coming in Mid-November then I'm off for the rest of the year.  Still have some great stuff to sell and will be back at it in January.

I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.

I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item.  If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
