Original UK B&C black & green label stereo 1st press LP.

This is the second LP by Atomic Rooster recorded in August and released in September 1970, a month after their first album was remixed and re-released and the band was due to go on tour. This new album featured the classic line-up of Vincent Crane, John Du Cann & Paul Hammond and produced the hit single 'Tomorrow Night'. The album's cover features the William Blake monotype of 'Nebuchadnezzar' and the band photos were taken at Churchfield Road Cemetery, London, by Richard Lyon.

This copy has a label variant with the small box B&C logo and CAS-1026 number above the inner grove ring on the label and the earliest A-1U B-1U matrices and 1-P 1-H stampers of the original first issues.

The E. J. Group matt sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some light corner/edge wear and some storage rubbing on the outer cover. The inner cover has some light rubbing & a small name in biro. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact & in EX condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with only a few faint & wispy sleeve removal hairlines and a couple of light neeedle/bag scuffs visible on each side. There is also a pressing mark on side one that does not affect play. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of one or two very faint spindle markings.   The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very low background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & clear listen.  

The matrix nos. are; CAS-1026, A-1U mother stamper 1-H, B-1U mother stamper 1-P.
This is one of the early copies of the original 1970 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!
