This is a great chance to hear the amazing and critically aclaimed album AMOK, as it was intended on 180 gram high quality vinyl at 45rpm. The faster rpm means the record has less surface noise when playing back. The Deluxe version is worth the extra money because it comes in a beautifully packaged triple gate fold cover and comes with the CD, so you can compare the sound quality of the vinyl against the CD if thats your thing. -Analogue VS Digital-
Why vinyl is better then CD!!! The vinyl creates an analogue signal that is the exact likeness of the original waveform, this gives the analogue signal infinite resolution. The CDs resolution is 44.1 Khz sample rate which means it takes 44,100 snap shots of the original wave form and uses this information to create its own impression. Resulting in a good interpretation but losers some of the warmth and fidelity that analogue produces. The CD version also has a bit depth of 16 bit, this effects the dynamic range of the audio signal (Dynamic range is the difference between the quietest sounds and the loudest sounds of the music). A bit depth of 16 gives the music a potential dynamic range of 96 DB the human ear can hear a dynamic change of 120Db, which means the CD can not produce the exact sound of the original music.
