Superb quality single collection just in, all top quality mainly japanese and audiophile pressings of vintage modern jazz. Bought new and cherished by someone who had a very high end turntable and system, very large collection so nothing overplayed, every one of them heard so far plays beautifully.
Audiophile original Japan King Press (scarce short lived edition called Unissued Masters series from 1980/81 with the insert) Blue Note Ike Quebec Unissued Masters GXK 8190, in true stereo. No original BST or BLP exists for this, as it stayed in the cans until 1981, when it had a simultaneous issue as an LT, but this japanese issue is the first to have proper Blue note classic style artwork. Great date with Grant Green & Paul Chambers in the band. If you have ever heard the difference between a Blue note on european labels or King, you will know that the name is fitting, these are the Kings of pressings - beautiful silent surfaces, fantastic masterings and the only true rivals to 1st US press, but on quieter vinyl. These luxurious early Asian issues have inserts & hard card sleeves, a real quality feel to them.
Unmarked playing surfaces, Near Mint condition record, in a Near Mint sleeve. Record not warped, labels are clean..
