Description
One of a kind custom box filled with the following three Rockers 12" 45s 1. Don D Special - Augustus Pablo b/w Pablo in the Dance - Augustus Pablo 2. Understand Me Now Man - Tetrack b/w Pure Worries - Tetrack 3. Roots and Vine - Norris Reid b/w Tra la la - Norris Reid all on Rockers high quality US pressings...each side is in unplayed NEAR MINT condition no scratches scuffs skips spindle marks - with the exception of the last six rotations of Pablo in theDance surface noice from pressing . These records were quite common in the nyc area when issued in 1985-86 and i picked these up to make this set about 20 years ago. I recycled a box found on junk day and discarded the cornball records, painted the boxes flat black and applied a copy of a Rockers sleeve and label to both sides of the box i retained the deluxe poly-lined heavy duty inner sleeves as well. I did this because i had nothing better to do and I MEAN that. Pablo's music is as good as it gets... here's a chance to get three original digital roots masterpieces in a unique tribute.
