Description

 Tammy Wynette (1942-1998) was one of the most notable female country singer songwriters.  She had a tough start in life, but she scaled all the "ladders" to become one of the best known and biggest selling country gals ever.  During the late 1960s and the early 1970s she charted an incredible 23 number 1 country songs.  We of course think of her when we hear "Stand by Your Man" or "D-I-V-O-R-C-E".  Tammy's Touch that I have for sale is an autographed LP that was released in April of 1970 (over 44 years ago).  One of the outstanding singles on this album is the song "Lonely Days".  Country's own Curly Putnam wrote an introduction in regard to Tammy on the back cover of the album.  Tammy was married to George Jones from 1969 to 1975, and they help form "couples country" with the release of "One".  Tammy was married five times and was thought to have an affair with Burt Reynolds.  Although Tammy's death was shrouded in mystery, she was exhumed and her death was defined to be due to a cardiac irregularity.  Tammy appeared in some TV shows in the 1990s that included "Married with Children"  and "King of the Hill".  She passed away to soon at 56 years old, so her autograph will just increase in value among collectors.  She had a very nice signature.
