PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.


MEGA RARE original Rudy Van Gelder mastered BLP 4084 first pressing from 1962 on Blue Note's classic blue & white label in glorious mono with New York USA address in the upper label rim text, Plastylite ear logo and RVG stamped in the dead wax on both sides, West 61st Street address at the bottom on the rear cover and original Blue Note inner sleeve!!!  LP is VG-/G+ with a few scratches that can be lightly felt but plays amazingly well with no loud pops and some light surface noise.  Cover is a nice VG with no splits, no seams and a small light stain in the top right hand corner on the rear only.  


I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED)  NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
