Description
I have the privilege of listing today what is probably one of the best examples of this set ever sold in recent years. It's the crown jewel of my collection, which I have been slowly selling lately.
The box is VG++, and I only rate it this way on account of the spine showing a crease (which comes from opening and will happen to all boxes) and, more importantly, having lost some color due do to light exposure. I tried to photograph it. It's not easy but it's there, the spine is less red than the rest of the box. But the rest, inside and outside, is as M as it gets.
Even better, the 3 LPs are in superb condition. One is VG++, with only a few hairline marks only visible under strong backlight. The other two are NM (one hairline mark) and M (no mark). I'm pretty sure two of these LPs have barely had any play, if any.
Is it necessary to add that this is a fantastic, and great sounding, performance? This box deserves every drop of its legendary collector status.
